Here I will provide links to entertaining/informative videos that you should watch if given the chance. Trust me, I will not put anything on here not worth your time.
Let’s start off with a classic: Ted Cruz in a production of the Crucible at Harvard Law School. Fun fact, during one of the shows, Cruz was so hungover that he ran off stage in the middle of it, threw up, and just straight up left the theater. Unfortunately, this is not that clip, but it’s worth a watch all the same. In the 1950s, Arthur Miller wrote his classic play as an allegory for McCarthyism and the Red Scare. Ironically, today we are in the midst of an orange scare, and our shining knight to save the day (Cruz) happens to bear a striking resemblance to Joseph McCathy himself. Oh how the turn tables!
This next one is a little more somber, but absolutely amazing. It’s the opening clip from the Newsroom, a program that aired on HBO from 2012-2014 staring Jeff Daniels. In this clip, Daniels’ character, Will McAvoy, responds to the question: Why is America the greatest country in the world? His response: it’s not. Be blown away by the genius of Aaron Sorkin’s writing as you watch, and reflect upon why America is no longer the greatest country in the world.
And now for one of my favorite videos of all time. Presenting, Donald Trump, “Turn off the lights.” Come on, this shit is hilarious. If nothing else, it shows just how juvenile Trump’s mindset is.
I’m sorry to have so many Ted Cruz, or even Republican candidates videos on here, but this has got to be one of the funniest things on the internet. If you just want the best part, skip to about 2:30, but the whole thing is worth a watch.
Another Republican Candidate, but I figure I gotta spread the love a little. Here’s John Kasich playing fruit ninja!
